1. Penjelajah web pertama kali berbasis teks, seperti halnya Lynx yang populer hingga sekarang, karena memang sistem dengan antarmuka grafis belum umum digunakan pada saat itu. Baru setelah sistem berbasis grafis mulai banyak digunakan, seorang mahasiswa bernama Marc Andressen di University of Illinois di Urbana-Champaign, Amerika Serikat, membuat sebuah penjelajah web berbasis grafis pertama yang berjalan di atas sistem operasi Windows dan UNIX (berbasis Motif). Penjelajah web tersebut dinamai Mosaic.
Selanjutnya, setelah lulus dari universitas, Marc ditawari oleh Jim Clarc, salah seorang petinggi Silicon Graphics Incorporated (SGI), untuk membuat perusahaan dengan nama Mosaic Communication, yang kemudian berubah menjadi Netscape Communication. Marc membuat sebuah penjelajah web populer pertama yang digunakan oleh umum, yang disebut dengan Netscape Navigator. Pada saat pengembangannya, Navigator memiliki nama kode Mozilla. Navigator merupakan penjelajah web komersial, akan tetapi seiring dengan waktu akhirnya Navigator pun menjadi dapat diperoleh secara gratis. Sementara itu, penjelajah web Mosaic yang gratis tidak diteruskan lagi pengembangannya, dan diserahkan kepada NCSA (National Computing for Supercomputer Application). Karena NCSA tidak memiliki izin untuk mengomersialkan produk Mosaic, NCSA akhirnya menjual Mosaic kepada Spyglass, yang akhirnya membuat Mosaic menjadi penjelajah web komersial.
Microsoft, yang terlambat turun di pasar penjelajah web, pun membeli lisensi Mosaic dari Spyglass, sehingga pada akhirnya merilis produk penjelajah web-nya, yang disebut sebagai Internet Explorer. Dengan dirilisnya Internet Explorer, muncullah perang besar antara web browser populer, yakni antara Netscape Navigator, dan Microsoft Internet Explorer.

Hello Brother Scouts!

In this time, I'll tell about one of the famous web browser. Maybe, in your mind you think why I post this entry? the answer is, in scouts, we are not only use mail for get relationship with other brother scouts. We also use internet to make a relationship with other scouts in the world. It's fact! we can't easily contact our brother without internet. That's why, WOSM make a kind of Jamboree called "JOTI" (Jamboree On The Internet).

One of the famous web browser is Internet Explorer. This is the display of Internet Explorer.

Internet Explorer is a series of

graphical web browsers developed by Microsoft and starting in 1995. It was first released as part of the add-on package Plus! for Windows 95.

The last version of Internet Explorer is "Internet Explorer 9". In September 15, 2010, Microsoft launched the IE9 Public Beta.

Internet Explorer, using the Trident layout engine:

• supports HTML 4.01, CSS Level 1, XML 1.0, and DOM Level 1, with minor implementation gaps. 
• fully supports XSLT 1.0 as well as an obsolete Microsoft dialect of XSLT often referred to as WD-xsl, which was loosely based on the December 1998 W3C Working Draft of XSL. Support for XSLT 2.0 lies in the future: semi-official Microsoft bloggers have indicated that development is underway, but no dates have been announced.
• partially supports CSS Level 2 and DOM Level 2, with major implementation gaps and conformance issues. Almost full conformance to CSS 2.1 has been added in the Internet Explorer 8 release.
• supports XHTML in Internet Explorer 9 (Trident version 5.0). Prior versions can render XHTML documents authored with HTML compatibility principles and served with a text/html MIME-type.
• fully supports SVG in Internet Explorer 9 (Trident version 5.0).

Salute scout!

We are Brandi's Rover Scout. Do you know Brandi's? If you don't know what is it, I'll tell you about it...

Brandi's is Rover Scout's group from SMAN 1 Sooko, Mojokerto. It is the one of scout group in Mojokerto. The name of "Brandi's" is taken from "Brawijaya-Srikandi Smansasoo". Brawijaya is boy scout group and Srikandi is girl scout group. Brandi's is the one of oldest organization in SMAN 1 Sooko. The age of Brandi's is 27 years. Actually, Brandi's has many kind of activity, including scout activity like camping, hiking, traveling, etc. Like scout movement in other country, Brandi's is a part of "Kwartir Nasional Gerakan Pramuka Indonesia" or Indonesian Scout Movement. So, Brandi's can be a International group, because scout must have a brotherhood in other country.

Ok, that's a little of Brandi's. And this is an Indonesian Scout Law :

4. Be obedient and collegial
5. Help others with compliance and resilience
